Because when we brought this little guy home from the Humane Society, he used to cower when we tried to pet him.Now he hops up on my lap and helps me work. And he isn't afraid of guests. And he seems to understand that the world isn't always a frightening place.
Not trying to pat myself on the back here; I'm just sayin'.
It's a good feeling.

Just got here through a search for info on FIV positive cats, and I can tell you I know what you're talking about. I'm a cat shelter volunteer, and seeing a frightened cat respond to love and affection *is* a mighty good feeling. Here's to you...
